Phase III: Store Placement
With your Phase I and II training successfully behind you, you will be ready for your next step. You will be assigned to a store, where you will take on the role of Assistant Manager. From that time on, your career will include ongoing training and job certifications that will keep you up-to-date on the information you need to perform your current job as well as to advance to the next level.
Job certification means you've proven you have the knowledge and skills you need to move to each new level of your career with Sherwin-Williams. As you move to a new position, additional courses may be required for certification.
Sherwin-Williams is committed to offering developmental opportunities to help you grow throughout your career. As you continue your career within the Paint Stores Group, you will need to take additional courses as new products and programs are introduced. This training, which will ensure you maintain your certification, may be offered through self-study or through Sherwin-Williams University.
We also offer tuition reimbursement for continuing education and specialized training courses that will prepare you for each successive position's certification.
